"Will Colombia Go The Way Of Venezuela And Cuba?": Steve Forbes Responds To Petro Win

Following

Colombia, once the U.S.’ staunchest Latin American ally, has just elected Gustavo Petro as president, a former guerrilla who spent 18 months in prison and hasn’t renounced his violent past. Petro was a close advisor to the late Hugo Chavez when he was establishing his dictatorship in Venezuela. Petro will be pursuing a radical leftist agenda in Colombia, and you can count on more U.S.-destined drugs coming out of the country.

This episode of What’s Ahead points out that what’s unfolding in Colombia is part of a global unraveling that portends a more dangerous world.

Unfortunately, the Biden Administration is feeding the perception that the U.S. is a declining power.
