Law enforcement agencies in Wyoming and Colorado are planning a special impaired driving enforcement campaign in conjunction with the Wyoming-CSU ''Border War" football game on Friday, Oct. 26.

Officers from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Colorado State Patrol, and numerous agencies in Laramie and Albany counties in Wyoming as well as Larimer County, Colorado will be out in force.

The enforcement effort will be centered on Interstates 80 and 25 as well as U.S. Highway 287. Wyoming agencies taking part besides the WHP will include the Cheyenne Police Department, Laramie County Sheriff's Office, Wyoming State Parks, Laramie Police Department, University of Wyoming Police Department, and Albany County Sheriff's Office.

During the 2017 Border War game, Wyoming officers made 11 DUI arrests and a  total of 198 traffic stops. Kickoff for the 2018 Border War is scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins.
