West Virginia man killed in Tuscaloosa County rollover crash

A West Virginia man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Tuscaloosa County.

Alabama State Troopers on Tuesday morning identified the victim as Jeremy Keith Brown. He was 29.

The crash happened at 10:50 a.m. Monday on Alabama 216 near the 3 mile marker, about three miles east of Tuscaloosa, said Senior Trooper Reginal King. Brown was killed when the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander he was driving left the roadway, overturned and struck a utility pole.

Brown, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation by troopers.
